International Office of Universitas Diponegoro held a workshop entitled “Stay Permit for Students and Lecturers / Foreign Volunteers” Thursday (4/4) at Grasia Hotel Semarang. The event was attended by Undip’s Vice Rector of Academic and Student Affairs, Head of UNDIP International Office, speaker from the Director of Higher Education Institution Science and Technology Development, Ministry of Manpower, Semarang Immigration Office and Head of OIA UGM as well as 25 participants from State and Private Universities in Central Java.
Chair of the International Office Dr. Ita Widowati, in her report she said that the workshop was a routine activity every year. Ita said that the workshop was considered important because the presence of foreign students was very important for university development and sharing tips from PTN and PTS in managing foreign students, especially problems that often appeared to be solved, especially in terms of residence permits.
Ita hopes that the workshop will be able to understand and understand each other and all the participants get useful shares on the management of residence permits for foreign students and lecturers.
