Permata Early Childhood Education (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini / PAUD) of Diponegoro University held a virtual graduation of Kindergarten B students of 2020/2021 academic year, on Saturday (5/6). This graduation is the second graduation since the opening of Kindergarten at Permata ECE of Undip. The first year graduation have been carried out during the pandemic era by online.
In his speech, Prof. Yos Johan Utama as Undip Rector said that Undip Permata ECE equips students with character building. Character building is an important part as the formation of good and wise thoughts, behavior, and morals as well as avoiding despicable and bad behavior.
“By being equipped with character education, things will become easier, since many people who has knowledge do not have good character. The goal of Undip Permata ECE is to prepare our sons and daughters to become good human beings, because great character is an important legacy. Hopefully someday they will become great children in their future, bring goodness for families, nations and countries,” he said.
On this occasion, the Principal of Undip Permata ECE, Sri Sedyaningrum, said the number of students who graduated is 11 students, consisting of 5 female students and 6 male students.
“The achievements of the students make us proud, from their development, memorization and achievements. This certainly cannot be separated from the cooperation and support of parents. The main education is family, so let’s create a conducive atmosphere for early childhood and parents must make time for their children in the midst of business.
