Second Day of Independent Exam at UNDIP Runs Orderly and Smoothly

Semarang – Diponegoro University (Undip) holds Online Independent Exam of Prospective Undergraduate Students for Academic Year of 2021-2022 on Tuesday, June 22nd 2021. Today is the second day of exam and it has been going well and smoothly. Participants seemed very enthusiastic about working on question after question. This online exam is one of the requirements for enrolling in Undip Undergraduate Program. Another requirements are the selection of report cards and participant portfolios.

The Online Independent Exam of Prospective Undergraduate Students on this year uses the CAT (Computer Assisted Test) application created by Diponegoro University IT team, so that participants only need to work on questions from their respective domiciles. Its implementation will always be monitored by the Undip IT team. If there are technical problems, they will be directly handled by the Undip IT team.

The Undip Online Independent Exam of Prospective Undergraduate Students will be held for 10 days from June 21st – July 2nd 2021. Every day there are 3 exam sessions and are supervised online by supervisors. One supervisor is in charge of supervising 20 participants. Even though it is monitored online, the participants are being strictly monitored.

“Even though it is done from their respective domiciles, they are still controlled by the exam supervisors. Participants are required to use Zoom application and turn on the camera while taking the exam. This effort is made to optimize honesty in the selection of prospective students,” explained Dr. Ir. Setia Budi Sasongko, DEA as Head of Education Quality Assurance and Development Institute (Lembaga Pengembangan dan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan / LP2MP) Undip, in an interview last Tuesday (15/06/2021).

In Academic Year of 2021/2022, Undip’s acceptance quota for Independent Exam path is 5,089 that register to 51 Undergraduate Study Programs. The 51 Study Programs consist of 34 Science and Technology study programs and 17 Social and Humanities study programs. The announcement of the final results will be announced on July 7th 2021.
