The Rector of Diponegoro University (Undip), Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., officially inaugurated officials and Civil Servants in Diponegoro University on Monday (24/01) at the SA-MWA Building Hall, Undip Tembalang campus at 10.00 AM.
The inauguration ceremony which was attended by the Undip Rector, Vice Rectors, Chair of the Academic Senate, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Deans, and Officials at Diponegoro University began with singing the anthem Indonesia Raya.
The event was continued with the reading of the Decree of the Rector of University of Diponegoro Number 5858/UN7.P/KP/2021, Number 775/UN7.P/KP/2022, Number 961/UN7.P/KP/2022, Number 976/UN7.P/KP /2022, and Number 977/UN7.P/KP/2022 concerning Dismissal and Appointment of Heads and Deputy Heads of Offices, Chairs and Secretaries of Study Programs at Diponegoro University and Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 5873/ UN7.P/KP/2021 to Number: 5887/UN7.P/KP/2021.
As many as 10 Undip officials who are inaugurated will occupy several positions, namely Head of Rating Office, Deputy Head of Rating Office, Head of Public Administration Postgraduate Study Program, Head of Business Administration Postgraduate Study Program, Head of Communication Science Postgraduate Study Program, Head of Notary Postgraduate Study Program, Secretary Notary Postgraduate Study Program, Head of Health Promotion Postgraduate Study Program, Head of Health Promotion and Behavioral Science, and Head of Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology D4 Study Program.
In addition, there are 15 employees who are appointed as civil servants who will later occupy several work units at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Faculty of Engineering (FT), Faculty of Medicine (FK), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK), Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM), and Vocational School.
Accompanied by their respective clergy, Undip officials and civil servants were sworn in before the Undip Rector. Taking the oath of inaugurated officials and civil servants was carried out according to their respective religious beliefs.
Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., in his speech congratulated the Undip officials and Undip civil servants who were newly appointed to their new positions. “I congratulate all of you who have been sworn in for certain positions. And to my children, Undip civil servants, I congratulate those who have taken the oath as civil servants,” he said.
Prof. Yos reminded that all employees within Undip must understand that there is a mandate from the state to make Undip as a university that excels in all fields. “We bear the mandate and responsibility to the community to always provide excellent service in terms of education and create excellent individual who has uswatun hasanah trait,” said Prof. Yos.
Furthermore, Prof. Yos advised to always be wise in using social media and maintain the good name of Undip with integrity. “Be careful with social media. Politeness is important. So here is the importance of integrity that we must uphold,” conclude Prof. Yos.
