Deployment and Welcoming of the Batch 2 Independent Student Exchange UNDIP in 2022

Semarang – Actively participating in the Independent Learning – Independent Campus (MBKM) program by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Diponegoro University (Undip) implementing the MBKM program as an activity on the Undip campus. One of them is the Independent Student Exchange Program with the slogan “Bertukar Sementara Bermakna Selamanya”. The Deployment and Welcoming of the Independent Student Exchange 2 Undip 2022 which was held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, 09:00 WIB at the Prof. Soedarto Building Undip Tembalang was held to release the departure of Undip outbound students and welcome inbound students from other universities to carry out the MBKM program at Undip. This event was attended by the Undip Rector, Undip Vice Rector I, the Dean of the Faculties at Undip, the Academic Director, Student Affairs, and Undip Alumni, as well as invited guests.

The report on the implementation of the Independent Student Exchange 2 at Undip was submitted by the Coordinator of the Independent Student Exchange 2 Undip 2022 Program, Dr. Aris Ismanto S.Si., M.Si. who stated that in this year, the Independent Student Exchange Program was carried out offline and spread across 11 faculties at Diponegoro University. Undip’s outbound students consist of 22 Undip students spread across 12 PTN and PTS in Indonesia, of which the most are at Hasanuddin University as many as 5 students, and others in 12 PTN and PTS in Indonesia. “As for inbound students, we received 184 students from 26 state universities and private universities from outside Java,” said Dr. Aris.

A total of 184 Undip inbound students came from Institut Kesehatan Deli Husada Deli Tua, Institut Kesehatan Helvetia, Institut Kesehatan Mitra Bunda, Institut Seni Indonesia Padang Panjang, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia Banjarmasin, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Hukum Muhammadiyah Takengon, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Papua, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Payung Negeri, Universitas Al Muslim, Universitas Andalas, Universitas Bandar Lampung, Universitas Borneo Tarakan, Universitas Bosowa, Universitas Bung Hatta, Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo, Universitas Halu Oleo, Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas HKBP Nommensen, Universitas Islam Riau, Universitas Jambi, Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas, Universitas Khairun, Universitas Kristen Indonesia Toraja,Universitas Kristen Papua, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Universitas Lampung, Universitas Lancang Kuning, Universitas Malikussaleh, Universitas Mataram, Universitas Medan Area, Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur, Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro, Universitas Muhammadiyah Pare-pare, Universitas Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung, Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sinjai, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, Universitas Mulawarman, Universitas Musamus Merauke, Universitas Negeri Makassar, Universitas Negeri Manado, Universitas Negeri Padang, Universitas Nusa Cendana, Universitas Pattimura, Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat, Universitas Potensi Utama, Universitas Prima Indonesia, Universitas Sriwijaya, Universitas Sulawesi Barat, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Universitas Tadulako, Universitas Tanjungpura, Universitas Teuku Umar, Universitas Udayana.

In organizing the Independent Student Exchange Program, Diponegoro University has selected 10 Nusantara Module lecturers from several faculties including FISIP, FPIK, SV, and FH. For accommodation, Undip accepts 159 students living in Undip Flats.

Daniel Prayoga from the Islamic University of Riau as a representative of the participants of the Merdeka 2 Student Exchange Program delivered his remarks. “I, as a representative of the Inbound PMM 2 Diponegoro University students, would like to thank you for accepting us in this PMM 2 Program. We are very happy and proud of the opportunity that the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology has given us so that we can gain knowledge and contribute to Undip as one of the best universities in Indonesia,” he said.

Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M. Hum. welcomed the arrival of inbound students from PMM 2 Undip. “We are all here, there is no racial grouping because we are one, the people of Indonesia. We are grateful that we have Pancasila as a guide with the values of a good life. Welcome to the participants of the Independent Student Exchange 2 at Undip, do things with good intentions and hard work, later the results will also be good,” said Prof. Yos in his speech.

The event continued with the symbolic handover of the KTM by the Undip Rector to student representatives. Then the dance performance of Wonderful Indonesia was performed by participating students from various regions in Indonesia.
