The MISSER Team from the Faculty of Medicine Undip successfully won achievements at the most prestigious and competitive annual event, namely the Taiwan Innotech Expo on October 13-15, 2022 at TWTC (Taiwan World Trade Center), Taiwan. The MISSER Team won the Bronze Medal Award in the Medical and Healthcare Services category.
2022 TIE (Taiwan Innotech Expo) is one of the largest and most prestigious international level events co-organized directly by several government agencies and ministries from Taiwan. TIE is a prestigious annual event as a competitive event which is attended by hundreds of inventors from various backgrounds, from companies, ministries, universities and other inventors.
The achievement made by the MISSER Team adds a new collection of achievements for the Faculty of Medicine at the international level. The FK Undip delegates are: Aqsa Aufa Syauqi Sadana (2021) , Nurul Azizah Dian Rahamawati (2020) , Yumni Rahadatul Aisyi (2021), Arkhan Meidy Hermawan (2021), Sineba Nafti Rizkite Barly (2021), and Lugas Firdinand Hamdi (2021). The team was accompanied by dr. Muflihatul Muniroh, M.Si.Med., Ph.D as supervisor in the team.
At the 2022 Taiwan Innotech Expo, the MISSER Team presented an invention in the form of an Anti-Myiasis Gel Spray from apus bamboo shoots. This product has been claimed to have effectiveness and has been tested to be able to handle myiasis cases which of course is an eco-friendly and sustainable product.
The hope of the MISSER Team is that the innovations developed will provide great benefits to the general public and can continue to develop innovations for the better. Acknowledgments from the MISSER Team are dedicated to the supervisors and all parties who have supported the MISSER Team.
