Studying in college is one of the golden times in life because that is when we really start our life journey by gaining knowledge academically and gaining life lessons from various experiences. One of the Undip students who explore a lot about things around her is Meitta Maddhawati, student of Law class of 2018 from the Faculty of Law Undip. In addition, she is also active in organization and running businesses. Even though she was busy and full of activities, Meitta was able to prove her academic abilities by graduating with a cum laude predicate.
Meitta, who graduated with a GPA of 3.66 during college, has participated in the UKM-F Foreign Language Study Group and the Career and Development of BILSA (Business Law Student Association). She is also active in the social field which according to her is a useful activity. “I have also participated in Volunteering from International Youth Opportunities in International Networking Local Chapter Semarang,” she said.
In between her busy studies and organizational activities, Meitta also works part-time as a tutor for elementary and junior high school students. This Undip graduate with a cum laude predicate has also been diligent in running businesses since college, both online and offline businesses. She runs an offline business in the field of bakery and online shop business. According to her, studying and working greatly hone problem solving skills which of course will be useful in helping time management so that other work continues to run optimally.
“During the 4 years I studied at Undip, I gained a lot of valuable knowledge and experience. I am very proud to be able to study at Undip, my beloved campus and am very happy to meet good friends in a positive environment. The most memorable thing was when I was able to finish my education well. I am grateful to have earned my Bachelor of Laws degree to dedicate to my parents who have passed away. It’s not an easy matter to get to this point, but the life ahead will be much bigger and more challenging,” explained Meitta, sharing her impressions while studying at Undip.
In her interview with the Undip Public Relations team, Meitta said that education is important because education is a way to change mindsets about anything. “With the knowledge we gain in college, we can learn to evaluate things from a variety of different points of view. Education is not solely to get a degree, but with our improved abilities, the knowledge we learn will also be of benefit to the wider community,” she concluded. (Titis – Public Relations)
