Prof. Dr. Paramita Prananingtyas, S.H., LL.M. and Prof. Dr. Fifiana Wisnaeni, S.H., M.Hum were officially inaugurated by the Rector of Diponegoro University (Undip) as Professors at the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, Tuesday (19/9) at the Prof. Soedarto, S.H. Building, Tembalang.
In her scientific material entitled Compliance Program for Business Competition Law Enforcement (Competition Compliance) as an Effort to Cultivate Legal Compliance for Business Actors in Indonesia: Establishing Healthy Business Competition for a More Advanced Indonesia, Prof. Paramita conveyed the form and process of preparing a compliance program (competition compliance) in Indonesia and other countries are carried out in stages. Fair business competition and anti-monopoly enforcement agencies from countries with anti-monopoly and unfair business competition regulations will first provide the foundation and guidelines for general compliance programs.
“The relevance of the existence of a competition compliance program to changes in the behavior of business actors, especially in Indonesia, is that internally, companies that implement a compliance program will gain many benefits, especially in terms of performance, reputation and readiness to face healthy business competition both nationally and internationally,” continued Prof. Paramita.
“The model for the electoral system for members of the House of Representatives that can realize a just democracy is the proportional electoral system with the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) variant, which gives the people the opportunity to choose the names of candidates and political parties. The public could also choose a District system with the provisions that electoral districts are based on the population balance. It has to pay attention to the expansion and merging of regions and the method by which votes are counted based on the majority of votes in one round,” she explained. (LW-Public Relations)
