Diponegoro University (Undip) is ready to send a contingent of 35 students to participate in the 2023 National Student Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQM) XVII competition, which will be held at Brawijaya University on November 3-10, 2023. MQTM aims to foster love and enthusiasm for students and the community to constantly study and understand the Qur’an as a guide and guidance for human life.
Nur Fauzan Ahmad, S.S., M.A., as Chair of the MTQM Committee, in his speech, reported that the Undip team that would compete in the National MTQM event were participants in the University level MTQM, which was held on 9 September. From the end of September to the end of October, various events and training have been held to prepare participants for this national-level competition.
“Please pray for your blessing so that our journey will always be smooth and safe, as well as success in participating in this event. Hopefully, we can perform well to bring Undip’s good name and broadcast the Islamic religion,” said Nur Fauzan Ahmad.
Meanwhile, Undip Deputy Director for Student Affairs, Dr. Nuswantoro Dwiwarno, S.H., M.H., provided direction to participants who will participate so that they do not doubt and worry about themselves. The participants were also asked to focus on the competition.
“Confident in our abilities. Yesterday, we were given guidance and assistance. Now, we have to prove the results of this guidance. Don’t forget, no matter how hard we try, keep praying to Allah SWT, because ultimately we hope for blessing from Allah SWT,” said Nuswantoro. (Hanang-Public Relations)
