UNDIP’s Ranking Increases in the 2024 QS Asia University Rankings to Position 177th Best University in Asia and 43rd in Southeast Asia

Diponegoro University (Undip) has once again achieved a very encouraging ranking achievement. Recorded on the QS Asia University Rankings 2024 (QS AUR 2024) page https://www.topuniversities.com/asia-university-rankings?countries=id, which was released on November 8, 2023, at the Asian level, Undip was ranked 177th the best university at the Asian level, while in the QS South Eastern Asia University Rankings 2024 category, Undip is ranked 43rd best university in Southeast Asia. In QS AUR 2023, Undip is at level 200 in Asia and 47 in Southeast Asia. As for the ranking previously released on March 22, 2023, QS World University Rankings 2024 (QS WUR 2024) in the Top Global Universities category, Undip is ranked 791-800 of the best universities at the global level.

Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS WUR) is a world-class ranking agency for higher education institutions. QS World University Rankings 2024: Top Global Universities assesses 1,500 institutions in 104 countries around the world and 857 institutions in Asia.

The points obtained by Undip in the ranking calculation indicators for the QS Asia University Rankings 2024: Top Asia Universities are Academic Reputation (30.0%), Citations per Paper (10.0%), Papers per Faculty (5.0%), Employer Reputation (20.0%), faculty-student ratio (10.0%), Staff with PhD (5.0%), International Research (10.0%), Inbound Exchange Students (2.5%), International Faculty (2.5%), International Students (2.5%), Outbound Exchange Students (2.5%).

Rector of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama S.H., M.Hum., expressed his thanks to all parties for this achievement. The ranking results are the fruit of hard work from all levels at Diponegoro University, including alumni who have contributed through their respective roles.

“Of course, we hope that every year, our ranking can be even better. We continue to improve the quality of academics and graduates, publications, and research networks with foreign researchers in an effort to achieve Undip’s vision of becoming an excellent research university and Undip’s goal of becoming a world-class university. “Undip continues to make every effort to improve its reputation at the global, Asian and Southeast Asian levels,” said Prof Yos Johan on Friday (10/11/2023).
