Kemas Mohd. Sadam Abdul Somad, S.Psi, is one of Diponegoro University’s outstanding graduates with a GPA of 3.83, who was inaugurated at Diponegoro University’s 172nd graduation ceremony. Kemas is a student from Jambi City who entered through the SNMPTN route in the Undip Psychology Undergraduate Study Program. In carrying out his studies, Kemas not only focused on understanding the lecture material but also took part in many other activities.
He graduated with a Cum Laude degree. During his studies, he often took part in national and international research conferences, took part in scientific work (essay) competitions, became a volunteer for non-profit organizations and environmental projects, and took part in student exchange (IISMA) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Diponegoro University is one of the best universities in Indonesia, with quality facilities and teaching staff. Kemas Mohd. Sadam Abdul Somad said, “Studying at Undip was an extraordinary experience because I was able to meet great lecturers who could broaden my horizons.” The quality of lecturers and adequate facilities encourage the formation of quality students. “Undip also has a quality student environment that can inspire me to continue developing myself,” he added.
Kemas Mohd. Sadam Abdul Somad’s life motto is “Keep fighting and do your best. Enjoy the process, and don’t focus too much on the results.” This motto is what drives Kemas to achieve brilliant achievements. He has earned several achievements, including 1st place in the Main Outstanding Students Election for the Faculty of Psychology, Diponegoro University; 3rd Place in the 2020 Pyson Binus University Essay Competition; finalist in the Enchantment essay writing competition, Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia 2020.
For him, graduation is a new beginning for the next chapter of his life. Along with his graduation and achievements, Kemas advised, “Focus on developing yourself according to your passion.
