Devina, Undip’s Best Graduate, Skilled in Communication and Self Development

“The four-year journey of studying at Diponegoro University was like walking along the pages of a map that guided me to explore the complexity of knowledge and social dynamics. Throughout this journey, I have not only gained knowledge but also valuable moments, built strong relationship foundations, and achieved new opportunities. Studying at Undip is not just a matter of getting a degree, but a colorful journey that shapes me into the best version of myself.”

The expression above is the impression of the Best Graduate of the Communication Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University (FISIP UNDIP). Devina Meidy Fidelia Putri Pangudi graduated with a GPA of 3.91. While studying at Undip, she was a student who was active in several campus and youth organizations, and she was even involved in competitions in the field of public speaking, which then led her to various valuable opportunities and experiences.

Devina is a FISIP Outstanding Student in 2021-2022 who received 4 scholarships at Leads Indonesia, Event Hunter Indonesia, Bank Indonesia (GENBI), and Bintang Mandiri MAI Institute. Apart from being an outstanding student, she has also been active in organizations such as the Undip Indonesian New Generation (GenBI) as Vice Leader of Public Relations from 2022 until now. In 2020, she became Chair of the Diponegoro MUN Society. Devina is also active as a speaker who shares tips and tricks in Public Speaking and Self-Development. She is often invited to be a speaker at various events, some of which are the Youth Leader Summit StudentsxCEO and the Self-Development Session Ruang Peduli by Ruang Guru. Not only that, she also won the National Ambassador for Indonesian Inspirational Students in South Kalimantan and became the Best Speaker in 2021. She won 2nd place in the National English Speech Competition SAEED and 1st place in the National English Speech Competition SECTION at Unsoed in 2021, and many more. In between her studies, Devina also took the time to develop her skills and work as a Digital Content Creator at Kobi Education.

“One of the biggest life lessons that I got while studying and which I am very grateful for is understanding the importance of balancing education and organization. I realize that success is not only determined by academic knowledge alone but also by the ability to apply and test these abilities, as well as being able to understand dynamics in preparation for facing real-world challenges. So, it’s not just about being a smart book; it’s about being street-smart, too! Keep that balance, and you’ll be the MVP in both arenas!” concluded Devina. (Sudanta – Undip Public Relations)
