UNDIP Played an Active Role in the Edujob Expo Event at SMAN 7 Semarang

Diponegoro University (Undip), through the Education Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LP2MP), participated in the Education Exhibition at the Edujob Expo Event entitled “Hacking the Future.” This event was held by SMAN 7 Semarang on December 15, 2023, in the school auditorium.

In his speech at the Opening Ceremony, the Principal of SMAN 7 Semarang, Sugiyo, S.Pd, M.Kom., said that this activity aims to provide an opportunity for students, both grades 10, 11, and 12 to get to know more about the profile of 32 universities attended this expo.

The event opened with a Nandak Ganjek dance performance performed by the SMAN 7 Dance community. The Undip Socialization and Promotion Team, consisting of 4 people, was present to provide comprehensive information about selection routes, education costs, study programs, facilities and advantages possessed by Undip. Questions frequently asked by parents and students include scholarship programs, graduate profiles, and lecture materials.

Undip Socialization and Promotion Team provides excellent service by providing informative answers and explanations for every question asked. Apart from that, the Undip Socialization and Promotion Team explained in detail the profile of Diponegoro University, including study program choices, facilities, service applications, location access, university achievements, student activity units, and Scholarship Programs. The latest information regarding the 2024 SNBP and SNBT implementation schedule was conveyed to visitors. To add to the excitement of the Edujob Expo activities, several student music bands from SMAN 7 Semarang also put on their best performances.

Undip’s active participation in this event was to help the students and parents who attended obtain information and provide motivation so that they could choose study programs that suited their interests and potential.
