PSDKU UNDIP’s Commitment to Develop Human Resources in the Region

Diploma-III Students of Public Relations study program, Batang Campus, Diponegoro University, held a National Seminar entitled “Channeling Spirit for the Nation Through Increasing Regional Human Resource Capabilities” on Thursday (16/11).

The National Seminar was held at the Batang Regency Hall, which presented several speakers from various fields, such as political practitioners, entrepreneurs, influencers, and regional officials. This activity also featured several guests such as the Governor of Central Java represented by Assistant I PJ Governor of Central Java, the Batang Regent Official represented by the Regional Secretary, Military Commander IV Diponegoro, Dandim 0736 Batang, Chairman of the PSDKU LP, Dean of the Vocational School, as well as PSDKU Undip lecturers.

The National Seminar aimed to develop technical, theoretical, conceptual and moral abilities into good results. Chief Executive of Nacometha 2023, Safira Alifah Rahmah, explained that the aim of holding the National Seminar was as a form of student participation in the advancement of human resources in the region.

“This activity helps strengthen the existence of Diponegoro University through PSDKU in Batang, Pekalongan and Rembang. By presenting resource persons with the material presented, it is hoped that they can provide new insights to the seminar participants,” he said.

Dr. Drs. Retno Dwi Irianto, M.M., represented the Chair of the PSDKU LP, and the Head of the D3 Public Relations Study Program said that through the theme raised, they were trying to collaborate on various things, such as the implementation of the democratic process in 2024, the development of Batang district and expanding better personal abilities.

“Through this theme, the Nacometha committee tries to collaborate on various things, the first of which is related to preparing ourselves for the implementation of democracy next year. Then, for the development of the Batang district with the existence of an Integrated Industrial Zone, great Human Resource support is needed. It is as well as efforts to promote independence and encourage people to do something real,” said Retno.

Representative of Pangdam IV Diponegoro, Colonel Mawardi, said that this was an extraordinary seminar because both the participants and the committee in this National Seminar activity could benefit from it.

“Hopefully, the seminar will run smoothly and successfully and can provide enthusiasm for improving human resource capabilities,” he explained.
