Sofi FISIP UNDIP Ready to Serve

The digitalization of administrative services is an essential step in supporting an effective and efficient learning process. With digitalization, students and lecturers can access various academic services more efficiently, quickly, and transparently.

In response to this, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Diponegoro University (FISIP UNDIP) has undertaken a digitalization initiative by launching the Sofi application (FISIP Online Letter) on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Auditorium Room, 3rd Floor, Building A, FISIP UNDIP Campus. The event invited all program managers and students within the FISIP UNDIP environment.

The Dean of FISIP UNDIP, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., in his speech, expressed hope that with the launch of the Sofi application, FISIP could provide better and more effective services to support achieving a top 400 world ranking. He also emphasized that the development of this digital service aims to provide optimal and excellent services for students and lecturers so that the teaching and learning process can run more smoothly and efficiently.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Dean for Resources of FISIP UNDIP, Ika Riswanti Putranti, S.H., M.H., Ph.D., mentioned in her report that FISIP UNDIP currently has several digital service portals accessible through the link fisip.apps. undip.ac.id. The active digital services include Sofi, eKonten, eSurat, and SkArchive.

The FISIP UNDIP Online Letter Service (Sofi) is a web-based application designed to help students manage academic correspondence online. In using the Sofi application, students only need to input their Student Identification Number (NIM), select the type of letter to be requested, and fill out the available form.

Currently, the Sofi application provides nine services that can be used, namely: Certificate of Non-Leave of Absence, Statement of Still Studying for Civil Servants, Statement of Still Studying for Non-Civil Servants, Permission Letter for Course Assignment Interview Research, Permission Letter for Research to Private Companies, Permission Letter for Research to Government Agencies, Letter of Cancellation of Internship Placement, Proof of Completion of Internship, and Internship Request Letter.
