UNDIP Establishes Cooperation with Perum Perumnas

Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has officially established a partnership with the National Housing Development Public Corporation (Perum Perumnas). The collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 9:30 AM WIB, held in the Rector’s Meeting Room of the Widya Puraya Building, UNDIP Tembalang Campus.

UNDIP Rector, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., and the President Director of Perum Perumnas, Budi Saddewa Soediro, signed the MoU. The agreement focuses on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, encompassing collaboration in education, research, and community service.

UNDIP Rector, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si. welcomed the partnership and expressed his appreciation to Perum Perumnas for the opportunity. “This collaboration is essential. UNDIP and Perum Perumnas must work together and innovate to create tangible benefits for society,” said Prof. Suharnomo.

“The impact of UNDIP’s contributions is becoming evident. Hopefully, we can realize a triple helix or penta helix collaboration. UNDIP is committed to providing the best for society and the nation, including for Perum Perumnas, by ensuring that ideas and innovations from UNDIP researchers are directly applicable,” he added.

Budi Saddewa Soediro, President Director of Perum Perumnas, highlighted that Perum Perumnas, a state-owned enterprise (SOE) wholly owned by the government, is tasked with supporting the success of the government’s Three Million Homes Program. He expressed hope that UNDIP’s academics and researchers could contribute innovations and breakthroughs to accelerate this program.

“We hope that UNDIP’s expertise will help us find the right breakthroughs. Following this MoU, we look forward to concrete steps that can be implemented to accelerate the government’s housing program,” said Budi.

“We hope that with the signing of this MoU, the collaboration between UNDIP and Perum Perumnas will run smoothly and continue,” he concluded.
