Master of Nutritional Science Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro Achieves Top Ranking in National SINTA Score

Semarang – The Master of Nutritional Science at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro, has achieved remarkable success by becoming the most productive Master of Nutritional Science Study Program in Indonesia in producing works listed on SHINTA. UNDIP surpassed eight other Master of Nutritional Science Study Programs in Indonesia, including those at UI and IPB.

According to data from the Science and Technology Index (SINTA), the Master of Nutritional Science Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP ranked first in the SINTA Score 3-Year category at the Master of Nutritional Science. The SINTA 3Y Score is an assessment based on publications, research, community service, intellectual property rights (IPR), books, and networking over the past three years.

With a SINTA Score 3Y of 7.514, the Master of Nutritional Science Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP outperformed other prestigious universities in Indonesia, including Universitas Indonesia, Institut Pertanian Bogor, Universitas Hasanuddin, dan Universitas Brawijaya. This achievement reflects the program’s commitment to producing high-quality scientific publications, supporting research development, and contributing to the advancement of nutrition science both nationally and internationally.

The Head of the Master of Nutritional Science Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP, Dr. Etika Ratna Noer, stated that this accomplishment is a result of the hard work of faculty members, students, and administrative staff within the program. “We are committed to continuously improving the quality of research and scientific publications, as well as fostering strategic collaborations both domestically and internationally,” she said.

The Science and Technology Index (SINTA) is an official website managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbudristek). SINTA provides access to data on scientific publications, research, and community service from researchers, lecturers, and institutions in Indonesia. Additionally, the platform offers information on the

performance of researchers, journals, institutions, and affiliations, as well as rankings based on SINTA Scores to evaluate academic productivity through publications, intellectual property rights, books, and other indicators. SINTA aims to enhance research collaboration and promote recognition of Indonesian research achievements both nationally and internationally.

This achievement is expected to motivate the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine at UNDIP to continue maintaining and improving excellent academic performance as it is in line with UNDIP’s vision of “UNDIP, Noble and Valuable.” Through contributions to the field of nutrition science, it is hoped that a tangible positive impact will be provided to the broader community, both on a national and international scale, while also supporting the development of relevant knowledge to address global challenges in the future.
