UNDIP, Semarang (March 1) – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has awarded the Investment Gallery of the Faculty of Economics and Business (GI FEB) at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) as the 1st place winner in the Education Activities and Information Dissemination category.
This award proves that GI FEB UNDIP is one of the most active investment galleries in providing education and spreading information related to capital market literacy to the public throughout 2024.
The 2025 Investment Gallery Awards, held at the Main Hall of the Indonesia Stock Exchange on February 27, 2025, served as an appreciation event for various institutions, including universities, high schools, local governments, and Exchange Members. Its main goal is to recognize institutions that have actively promoted capital market literacy, thereby increasing the number of investors in this sector.
Notably, only universities that meet IDX criteria for actively supporting its role in enhancing capital market investment are eligible to compete in this award.
The Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, SE., M.Si., expressed his pride in this achievement. “This award demonstrates that GI FEB UNDIP has successfully fulfilled its role and made a real contribution to society in driving capital market investment growth in Indonesia,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Rivan Indrawan, Chairman of GI FEB UNDIP for the 2024 period, extended his gratitude to the Dean and Rector of UNDIP, the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and its partner Sinarmas Sekuritas for their continuous support. “We hope this achievement further strengthens our enthusiasm to provide broader and more sustainable investment education,” he added.
