UNDIP, Semarang (May 5, 2025) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) held a training session for its faculty members on the use of Scholar UNDIP, a platform developed to support digital transformation in managing research and publications. Scholar UNDIP (https://scholar.undip.ac.id) is a research management platform designed to organize and publish information on scientific publications, research data, academic collaborations, and faculty and student author profiles within the university.
The training, held on Friday, May 2, 2025, was officially opened by UNDIP’s Vice Rector for Human Resources, Information Technology, Law, and Organization, Prof. Dr. Adian Fatchur Rochim, S.T., M.T. In his opening remarks, Prof. Adian stated that Scholar UNDIP is a concrete step toward an integrated, transparent, and efficient research management system and represents a milestone in the university’s digital transformation efforts.
“Scholar UNDIP is not just a showcase for the scientific publications of our faculty and students, but also a reflection of UNDIP’s commitment to continuous innovation through information technology,” said Prof. Adian. He also expressed hope that the platform will make it easier for the academic community to access and promote their research and community service outputs.
Prof. Adian further emphasized that with the full utilization of Scholar UNDIP, the impact of UNDIP’s research can reach broader audiences and benefit both the academic world and the general public.
The training was delivered in a webinar format via Zoom Meeting and featured Kurniawan Teguh Martono, S.T., M.T., as the main speaker, moderated by Suwondo, S.Hum., M.Kom. During the session, Teguh provided a detailed and systematic explanation of how to use Scholar UNDIP, including a live demonstration on logging in and applying the platform in academic activities.
“Through this training, I hope you will better understand how to use Scholar UNDIP,” Teguh said during his presentation. He added, “Scholar UNDIP will help enhance your reputation and contribution in the field of education.”
Through this training, faculty members are expected to make optimal use of Scholar UNDIP as a strategic tool to disseminate research and publications while also strengthening UNDIP’s academic standing both nationally and internationally. (Tsania)
