Diponegoro University (Undip) officially received an educational scholarship program for students from the Asahi Glass Indonesia Foundation (YAGI) on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 10.00 WIB at the BAA Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, SA-MWA Building, Undip Tembalang Campus.
This activity was also attended by the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, the Deputy Academic Director, all leaders within Undip, and representatives from the Asahi Glass Indonesia Foundation (YAGI), as well as students who received scholarships.
The provision of the Asahi Glass Indonesia Foundation (YAGI) educational scholarship program to Undip students has been ongoing since 2017. In the 2023/2024 Academic Year, the Asahi Glass Indonesia Foundation (YAGI) provided educational scholarships to 6 (six) Undip students.
Representing students who received educational scholarships, Sena Arga Waluya expressed his gratitude for receiving the educational scholarship program. “I am grateful and honored to have received a scholarship from the Asahi Glass Indonesia Foundation (YAGI),” he said.
“With this scholarship, I am more motivated to continue to maintain my academic achievements and actively participate in being an agent of positive change in society so that I can contribute to building a better future for Indonesia. “Thank you for the opportunity, support and trust from the Asahi Glass Indonesia Foundation (YAGI). My friends and I will not disappoint this trust,” said the student from the Law Study Program, Faculty of Law Undip.
The educational scholarship program is a form of appreciation for students who have excelled in academic or non-academic fields. It is hoped that students who receive educational scholarships will be more diligent in studying so that they can complete their study period on time with the best grades and can apply the knowledge they have learned to advance the nation and state of Indonesia.
