Since the introduction of online lectures because of the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic, this has had an impact on the increasing need for internet data plan. Prior to Covid-19, students were able to use internet access at Undip campus for various purposes. However, ever since the lectures were conducted from their respective homes, students no longer able to utilize internet access from the campus. Most of the students have returned to their hometowns, although some still attempting to survive around the Undip Tembalang campus.
This condition attracted the attention of the ranks of PT. Adhi Karya to provide assistance to Undip students. Through the use of THR funds from Directors & Commissioners of PT. Adhi Karya (Persero), Tbk, some of these funds amounted to Rp. 150,000,000.00 (one hundred and fifty million rupiah) is allocated to students of the Faculty of Engineering Undip who are classified as the unfortunate and experiencing difficulties in purchasing internet data plan.
Operations Director 2 PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, Ir. Pundjung Setya Brata, who was the 1984 Undip FT-Civil Engineering Alumni, expressed his hope that the assistance would be useful for Undip Faculty of Engineering students to continue to attend online lectures well so that the quality of learning at the Undip FT could be maintained despite the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as a form of gratitude to Undip who has contributed in producing lots of best graduates to pursue its career at PT. Adhi Karya (Persero), Tbk.
