Diponegoro University – Semarang. The Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, held a 2023 Campus Service on Saturday, March 4, 2023. This activity was held in Sukorejo Village, Sambirejo District, Sragen Regency. Campus Service is an activity that is routinely carried out by FPP Undip lecturers to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Community Service.
“The 2023 Campus Service activity is a form of Undip’s concern for the community, especially in Sukorejo Village, which is a program implemented in a series of accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” explained Dr. Ir. Sri Sumarsih, S.Pt., MP, IPM as Head of the Department of Animal Science FPP Undip.
The 2023 Campus Service is realized by providing books and groceries for school-age children who are orphans, a total of 17 children. The packages were handed over directly by the Dean of FPP Undip and the Regent of Sragen who were present at the event. Apart from that, 183 (one hundred and eighty three) people were also handed over in the form of groceries and social funds for pre-prosperous elderly residents.
The Campus Service activity from the Department of Animal Science FPP Undip, took place in a lively manner and it was attended by the Regent of Sragen, dr. Kusdinar Untung Yuni Sukowati, who at the same time inaugurated the Keroncong Wayang CONGYANG DEWOREJO as a cultural attraction typical of the Sukorejo Organic Tourism Village.
