Diponegoro University (UNDIP) once again proves its credibility as one of the best universities in Indonesia. The results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 demonstrate its excellence.
Currently, UNDIP offers 55 undergraduate programs, 11 applied undergraduate programs, 62 post-graduate and professional programs, and 21 specialist and subspecialist programs. Five flagship programs at UNDIP are ranked in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024.
The QS WUR by Subject 2024 ranks institutions from 1,559 higher education institutions across more than 45 countries worldwide. In 2024, 55 subjects will be included in 5 main subject areas: Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life Sciences & Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences & Management.
QS WUR processes data from tens of millions of papers produced by 1,559 higher education institutions worldwide. By establishing international standard benchmarks, QS WUR aims to foster institutional development, enhance brand reputation, improve performance indicators, and attract prospective students. In its assessment, QS WUR uses various indicators, including Academic Reputation, Citation per Paper, Employer Reputation, H-Index, and IRN (International Research Network).
UNDIP’s global recognition is further solidified by the results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024. Five of UNDIP’s flagship programs have successfully entered the global ranking, including Law (Global Rank 351-370); Agriculture & Forestry (Global Rank 401-450); Business & Management Studies (Global Rank 451-500); Economics & Econometrics (Global Rank 451-500); and Social Sciences & Management (Global Rank 501-550). This achievement underscores the quality and competitiveness of our programs on the global stage, instilling a sense of prestige and confidence in the UNDIP community.
This ranking is the result of collaboration and synergy among all members of the academic community at UNDIP in various units and faculties/schools. Furthermore, this achievement is extraordinary for the Faculty of Law (FH), Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (FPP), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP).
