Master of Animal Science Study Program at FPP UNDIP Inaugurated 8 Students from Pakistan on Time

The Animal Science Master Study Program at the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences at Diponegoro University (FPP UNDIP) is one of the accredited programs with an “Excellent” rating. It specializes in Livestock Production, Nutrition and Feed Science, Animal Product Technology, and Livestock Development Planning. In 2022, the Animal Science Master Study Program collaborated with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in research and student mentoring. One aspect of this collaboration included mentoring international students.

Eight international students from Pakistan received scholarships from Diponegoro University through the Diponegoro International Students Scholarship (DISS) program. These students are enrolled in a research-based program where they conduct research and publish scientific papers during their studies at the Animal Science Master Study Program. The research was conducted at BRIN and FPP UNDIP with intensive supervision.

Dr. Ir. Cahya Setya Utama, S.Pt., M.Si. IPM reported that the Pakistani students graduated after 1 year and 9 months of study. The eight students were Ayesha Khan, Muhammad Abdul Manan, Bilal Ahmed, Muhammad Rizwan Yousaf, Hamza Zulfiqar, Saad Irfan, Azhar Ali, and Farwa Shakeel. Their research results were published in Scopus-indexed journals ranging from Q1 to Q3.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to receive scholarships from UNDIP and to study in the Animal Science Master Study Program. We hope to continue our doctoral studies in the Animal Science Doctoral Study Program at FPP UNDIP,” said Ayesha Khan on behalf of her peers.
