After long vacation of Eid ul-Fitr, the first day of work in Diponegoro University (Undip) was began with event of Halal bi Halal among university leaders, faculties leaders, officers and lecturers at Prof. Soedarto Hall, Undip Campus, Tembalang, on Thursday (June 21, 2018).
Like the Eid Mubarak previous years, Undip Rector, Vice Rector, Vice Chairman of Assembly of Trustee, Chairman of Senate Academic, Chairman of Board of Professors, as well as Deans and all of Undip staff shake hands and forgive each other.
On the occasion, Undip Rector Prof. Yos Johan Utama apologized to all of Undip’s Civitas Academica for his mistakes, both in verbal and deed. Rector hopes, with spirit of Eid Mubarak, lecturers’ and officers’ performances will be increase and can make better works and achievements. “And, to work and to obtain the best achievements, we have to based on honesty, consistency, and persistency,” Rector said.
Meanwhile, in his tausiyah (sermon), Ustadz Tio Iskandar Abdurrahman Al Hasani said that someone does not yet have a perfect faith if he/she has not yet love other people like he/she love him/her self. “Factually, Eid Mubarak moment is a time for back to humanity and to sancity values,” he said.
Ustadz Tio said the best person is a person who can benefit to other people. So, spirit of forgiving each other among all of Undip’s Civitas Academica will be positive energy for reaching the best achievements for Undip.*
