Diponegoro University – Semarang. Diponegoro University Student Organization (Undip) 2023 period which includes the Student Senate, Student Executive Board (BEM), and Student Activity Unit (UKM) management were officially appointed by Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. based on the Decree of the Rector of Diponegoro University Number: 106/UN7.A/HK/II/2023 concerning the Appointment of Student Senate Management, Student Executive Board Management, and Diponegoro University Student Activity Unit Management for the 2023 Period. The inauguration was held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 07:30 WIB at Prof. Soedarto, S.H. Building, Undip Tembalang.
The Undip Student Organization management who were inaugurated today were Student Senate management (9 people), BEM management (13 people), and UKM management from various UKM groups namely Inter-Sectoral UKM (4 UKM), Water Sports UKM (1 UKM), UKM Self Defense Sports (8 UKM), Games Sports UKM (11 UKM), Arts UKM (6 UKM), Reasoning UKM (5 UKM), and Welfare UKM (9 UKM).
The inauguration of the Undip Student Organization Management for the 2023 Period by the Undip Rector was followed by the Reading of the Pledge of the Undip Student Organization Management for the 2023 Period by the Head of the Student Senate.
In his speech, the Rector of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. mentioned that one thing that must be instilled is achievement because Undip’s ranking is also supported by student achievements. Furthermore, the entire civitas academica should instill respect and tolerance for Undip to be better managed and more prosperous.
Undip will facilitate student needs with international standard quality education. The Rector of Undip also said that Undip would soon have an international standard Badminton Building and Basketball Building.
On that occasion, the Undip Rector advised, “Don’t let the one-year position become a disgrace, give your best to the management and Undip. Congratulations to the new management, we will develop Undip as well as possible. Do something for this university, that’s the best thing we can do.”
