Brief History
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture of Diponegoro University (FPP UNDIP) was established on September 1, 1964 based on Decree of the Minister of PTIP Number 75/1964, starting from the great potential of animal husbandry in Central Java. Initially named the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, this faculty experienced various developments, including the opening of the fisheries department in 1968 until it changed to the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries in 1974. With the establishment of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science in 1994, the focus returned to the livestock department. In 2012, the faculty officially became the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture with the merger of departments and the establishment of the Department of Agriculture, in line with the efforts of efficiency and development of study programs.
