In the current Covid-19 pendemic, Diponegoro University continues to pay attention and help the community, especially to prospective new students, to have the opportunity to study at Undip. As much as 65% requests for tuition reduction to new students from SNMPTN 2020 channel have been approved. The request for the tuition reduction students from SNMPTN 2020 channel was approved by Undip through an appeal process carried out in all faculties.
As in previous years, especially during this moment where there is a COVID-19 pandemic, Undip tries to provide an opportunity for students to appeal for tuition reduction that has been set. Recently, as much as 271 new students in 2020 who were accepted through the SNMPTN channel submitted an appeal for the tuition.
The number of applicants is around 13% of all students accepted through the SNMPTN. In addition to the reduction in the tuition class, as many as 7% (18 students) were given payment holds. The appeal process itself is carried out by analyzing and clarifying the data and information submitted by the applicant carefully and thoroughly in order to be able to provide access for students as well as not to harm the state finances.
