Diponegoro University (UNDIP) has agreed to collaborate with the University of Nottingham Malaysia on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 10:30 AM WIB, conducted virtually. This collaboration includes student exchanges, academic partnerships, and publication activities.
The partnership was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UNDIP, represented by Vice Rector IV for Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ambariyanto, M.Sc., and the University of Nottingham Malaysia, represented by Prof. Ir. Dr. Hii Ching Lik from the Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering.
On behalf of the Rector of UNDIP, Vice Rector IV for Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ambariyanto, M.Sc., welcomed the collaboration established with the University of Nottingham Malaysia in his speech. “We welcome this collaboration. This activity is a great opportunity for us to continue enhancing our cooperation, not only in the field of research but also in other areas,” he said.
“It should not stop at the signing of the MoU alone. We hope there will be further steps after the signing of this MoU. Thank you for this opportunity,” added Prof. Ambariyanto.
At the same event, the Vice Provost of Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE) at the University of Nottingham Malaysia, Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Shahir Liew, expressed his pride in collaborating with UNDIP and hopes that this collaboration can expand into other fields.
“Indonesia is very close to my heart, and currently, Indonesia is developing rapidly. We are proud to be able to collaborate with UNDIP. I hope this cooperation will further expand into other fields,” said Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Shahir Liew.
“In 2012, UNDIP and the University of Nottingham Malaysia had established a collaboration. So, in the future, we can continue this cooperation in other fields,” he added.
