The 170th Graduation Ceremony of Diponegoro University (Undip) which was held on May 22-25, 2023 at the Prof. Soedarto, S.H. Building, Undip Tembalang, Semarang was attended by graduates from 11 Faculties and 2 Schools, namely the Postgraduate School and Vocational School at Diponegoro University from Diploma, Bachelor, Masters, and Doctoral programs. During this period, there were 2,082 students who were officially inaugurated by the Undip Rector. Among them, a total of 225 Bidikmisi students graduated as Undip graduates this May.
As one of the PTNBH in Indonesia, Undip participates in implementing the Indonesian government’s program through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology through the Bidikmisi program, providing tuition assistance for prospective students who are economically disadvantaged and have good academic potential to continue their education in tertiary institutions.
Undip is committed to maintaining and improving student welfare, in addition to various scholarship programs for outstanding and underprivileged students, Undip also has a program to provide healthy food for Undip students. The distribution of healthy food is carried out every week from Monday to Thursday at Undip Tembalang in the parking lot of the SA-MWA building, the Student Center yard, the parking lot of FPIK building, in the Imam Barjo Hall at Undip Pleburan, and in the Undip Jepara campus.
Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. conveyed his prayers for all graduates to get jobs quickly. “Especially for Bidikmisi students, I hope the knowledge gained will be a blessing for you and your family.
