Socialization and Promotion of UNDIP’s New Student Admission to SMA 1 Teras Boyolali: Introduction to Undergraduate and Vocational Study Programs for High School Students

The new student admission for the 2025/2026 academic year at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has officially begun. The first phase, the National Selection Based on Achievement (Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Prestasi / SNBP), has already concluded. Meanwhile, two other admission pathways, the National Selection Based on Test (Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes / SNBT) and the Independent Exam (Ujian Mandiri / UM), are currently open for registration.

To provide guidance on the admission process and introduce undergraduate and vocational programs, UNDIP conducted the “Socialization and Promotion on UNDIP’s New Student Admission 2025” at SMA 1 Teras, Boyolali Regency, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. The UNDIP team comprised representatives from the Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (Lembaga Pengembangan dan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan / LP2MP) and the Directorate of Media Networks, Community, and Public Communication (Direktorat Jejaring Media, Komunitas, dan Komunikasi Publik / DJMK2P), led by Irawati, S.H., M.H., a lecturer from the Faculty of Law at UNDIP.

Three hundred sixty twelfth-grade students attended the socialization event at SMA 1 Teras Boyolali. The school principal, Joko Sutomo, S.Pd., M.Or., warmly welcomed the UNDIP team. “We are proud of our outstanding students, and we hope their talents will lead them to become excellent human resources at top universities, including UNDIP. Our alumni at UNDIP have maintained a strong academic record. Thank you to UNDIP for your continuous guidance. I encourage our students to focus on the remaining admission pathways, namely SNBT and the Independent Exam.”

During the presentation titled “Unleash Your Potential, Ignite Your Future,” Irawati, S.H., M.H., introduced UNDIP’s vision as an excellent research university offering nationally and internationally accredited programs. UNDIP comprises 11 faculties and two schools, providing a wide range of undergraduate and vocational study programs. She also highlighted UNDIP’s flagship programs, including the International Undergraduate Program (IUP).

UNDIP is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to support student activities on campus, such as the Integrated Laboratory, Service English Unit (SEU), Muladi Dome, Diponegoro National Hospital (RSND), student dormitories, an international-standard basketball court, and more. Additionally, with 46 active Student Activity Units, students have numerous opportunities to explore and develop their interests and talents.

The admission quotas for new students at UNDIP are allocated as follows: National Selection Based on Achievement (Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Prestasi / SNBP) 20%, National Selection Based on Test (Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes / SNBT) 30%, and Independent Exam (Ujian Mandiri / UM) 50%.

The enthusiasm of students was evident in their eagerness to ask questions about UNDIP’s undergraduate and vocational programs. Irawati emphasized, “Both undergraduate and vocational education are equally valuable. You need to recognize your potential and carefully choose the right major and university, as these decisions will shape your future.”

She also advised prospective students to explore UNDIP’s official website, assess their interests and strengths, select a program that aligns with their aspirations, and consider the admission quotas when applying. Comprehensive information about UNDIP’s admission process is available at pmb.undip.ac.id, where prospective students can also access the helpdesk for further inquiries. (Titis – Media Relations)
