UNDIP, Semarang (March 5) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) continues to solidify its reputation as a leading research university nationally and internationally, according to the Edurank 2025 ranking. UNDIP surpassed other prestigious Indonesian universities such as Universitas Padjadjaran, Institut Pertanian Bogor, Universitas Brawijaya, and Universitas Airlangga.
EduRank, which released its latest rankings on March 2, 2025, shows UNDIP ranking in 4th place in Indonesia and 180th in Asia. The Best Universities Edurank 2025 evaluated 14,131 universities from 183 countries worldwide.
In addition, UNDIP is also included in the Top 50% of 171 research topics. UNDIP’s ranking is based on 3 factors, namely research output, non-academic reputation and the impact of 18 prominent alumni of UNDIP who have provided many benefits and influences in society.
EduRank noted that UNDIP has produced 54,271 scientific papers and 205,572 citations in various scientific fields.
UNDIP’s 4th ranking on EduRank is also inseparable from the contribution of first-place achievements in various topics or areas contributed by Study Programs at UNDIP, including:
