Semarang, Central Java (20/12) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) is once again preparing to welcome outstanding high school graduates and equivalent students to compete for a chance to be accepted into UNDIP, one of Indonesia’s top and most sought-after universities. Evidently, in the 2024 SNPMB (Seleksi Nasional Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru / National Selection for New Student Admissions), UNDIP ranked second in the highest number of registrants for SNBP (Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Prestasi / National Selection Based on Achievement) and first for SNBT (Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes / National Selection Based on Tests) in the Academic Public University category. UNDIP currently offers 55 undergraduate programs and 11 applied undergraduate programs.
For the 2025 SNPMB, Universitas Diponegoro will accept new students following the established regulations, allocating at least 20% of the quota for SNBP, at least 30% for SNBT, and a maximum of 50% for the Independent Path. This quota includes admissions for prospective students through the Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP Kuliah) program.
UNDIP is ready to open new student registrations following the 2025 state university admission system, officially launched by the SNPMB National Selection Committee on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Based on the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 48 of 2022 on New Student Admissions for Diploma and Undergraduate Programs at State Universities, as amended by Regulation No. 62 of 2023, there are three admission pathways, namely SNBP, SNBT, and Independent Path.
The SNPMB Committee manages SNBP and SNBT, while the Independent Path is fully managed by the respective state universities.
SNBP Admission Path
SNBP emphasizes academic achievements assessed through school report cards, considering both academic and non-academic achievements. Eligible participants for SNBP are final-year high school/equivalent students in 2025 with outstanding achievements. As a state university with legal entity status, UNDIP has set a minimum quota of 20% for this pathway.
The selection process begins with schools inputting students’ report card data into the School and Student Database (Pangkalan Data Sekolah dan Siswa / PDSS).
