Azzahra Mutiara Ayu, Master’s Student in Nutrition Science at the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP, Earns the Title of Fastest Graduate with 7 Scientific Publications and 3 Patents

Semarang – Azzahra Mutiara Ayu, a master’s student in Nutrition Science at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro, has made history as the fastest graduate, completing her studies in just 1 year and 8 months. This remarkable achievement showcases her dedication and academic excellence in higher education.

As a 2023 recipient of the Beasiswa Unggulan Masyarakat Berprestasi, Azzahra has demonstrated outstanding contributions to research and scientific writing. To date, she has produced seven scientific publications, five of which have been published in SCOPUS-indexed Q1 international journals. Additionally, she has actively participated in various research projects, securing three granted patents, making her one of the most academically impactful students.

Under the guidance of Dr. Fitriyono Ayustaningwarno, STP, M.Si., and Gemala Anjani, SP, M.Si., Ph.D., with support from the Head of the Master’s Program in Nutrition Science, Dr. Etika Ratna Noer, S.Gz., M.Si., Azzahra developed her thesis titled “Quality and Thermal Stability of Citrus-Flavored Vegetable Oil.” Part of her research was conducted at the University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan, under the supervision of Yonathan Asikin, Ph.D. Her study explores the flavor quality and thermal stability of citrus-infused vegetable oil, positioning it as a high-antioxidant vegetable oil with potential applications in the food and health industries.

Azzahra’s rapid academic success is also attributed to the supportive academic system and research-friendly environment at the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP. The Master’s Program in Nutrition Science at the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP remains committed to providing the best facilities to foster innovative and internationally oriented research among its students.

This outstanding achievement is expected to inspire other students to continue striving for excellence and contributing to the academic world.
