UNDIP Holds Photography Training to Support Digital Branding

UNDIP, Semarang (February 27) – In an effort to enhance publication quality and digital branding, the Directorate of Media Networks, Community, and Public Communication at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) organized a Photography Training session on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the 4th-floor meeting room of the UNDIP Library and UNDIP Press Building. This training aimed to strengthen human resources competencies in creating high-quality and engaging visual content to support UNDIP’s image across various digital platforms.

The training was attended by 20 participants from the Directorate of Media Networks, Community, and Public Communication UNDIP. With Budi Purwanto, a photographer from TEMPO Semarang, as the guest speaker, participants received comprehensive lessons on basic photography techniques, camera features, and photo editing techniques to optimize their work for university publication and promotional purposes.

The Director of the Directorate of Media Networks, Community, and Public Communication UNDIP, Dr. Nurul Hasfi, representing Vice Rector IV, Wijayanto, Ph.D., delivered the opening speech and emphasized the importance of this training in improving the quality of UNDIP’s social media content and publications.

“Photography skills are essential in today’s digital era. With proper mastery of photography techniques, we can produce compelling visuals that strengthen UNDIP’s branding and reputation at both national and international levels,” she stated.

The one-day training featured interactive discussions, where participants not only learned theoretical aspects but also practiced hands-on photography and photo editing techniques.

This training is expected to provide long-term benefits for the university’s media and publication management. With improved photography skills, UNDIP’s publications can become more professional and competitive in the increasingly digital era.
