Semarang, February 4 – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), through the Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (LP2MP) and the Directorate of Media Networks, Community, and Public Communication, conducted the “UNDIP Socialization and Promotion of SNBP, SNBT, and Independent Exam in 2025” at several high schools in Jawa Tengah. This series of socialization and promotion events began in early February 2025, with the second session taking place at SMAN 1 Kendal on February 4, 2025.
The UNDIP team, led by Dr. Vivi Endar Herawati, S.Pi., M.Si. (Aquaculture Lecturer at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, UNDIP), introduced UNDIP’s vision as a leading research university, highlighting its nationally and internationally accredited study programs. Under the theme “Unleash Your Potential, Ignite Your Future,” Vivi provided a comprehensive overview of UNDIP’s faculties and their flagship programs, including the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) in several study programs.
To support student activities on campus, UNDIP offers various facilities such as the Integrated Laboratory, Service English Unit (SEU), Muladi Dome, Diponegoro National Hospital (RSND), student dormitories, an international-standard basketball court, and many more. Additionally, UNDIP hosts 46 Student Activity Units (UKM), allowing students to engage in extracurricular activities and develop soft skills aligned with their interests and talents.
During her presentation, Vivi advised students to maintain strong academic records from the early semesters and to choose study programs that match their grades, interests, and the program’s available quota.
Ramani, S.Pd., Public Relations Vice Principal of SMAN 1 Kendal, expressed appreciation for UNDIP’s visit. “The UNDIP team’s visit provided clear and valuable information, motivating students to consider UNDIP for their higher education,” said Ramani. The enthusiasm was evident, as many students eagerly asked questions and showed interest in enrolling at UNDIP.
UNDIP offers three admission pathways: SNBP (Selection Based on Academic Achievement), SNBT (Selection Based on Test), and the Independent Exam. The admission quotas are allocated as follows: 20% for SNBP, 30% for SNBT, and 50% for the Independent Exam.
The socialization and promotion event, held at the Saraswati Hall of SMAN 1 Kendal, attracted many eligible students—those who meet specific requirements for the SNBP selection. Most students were enthusiastic when asked about their knowledge of UNDIP and their preferred study programs. Interestingly, many were well-informed about UNDIP’s achievements and prestigious recognitions, which they had learned about through the university’s website and social media.
According to the 2025 SNPMB (National Selection for New Student Admission) schedule, SNBP registration is open from February 4 to February 18, 2025. Meanwhile, UTBK-SNBT registration is scheduled from March 11 to March 27, 2025.
“Make UNDIP your top choice, study diligently, stay motivated, and be optimistic in pursuing your dream program,” Vivi encouraged at the end of her presentation.
