Building, UNDIP Tembalang Campus, on Friday, March 21, 2025, and was attended by university leaders, lecturers, academic staff, and students from various faculties and schools at UNDIP.

Ramadan serves as a moment to strengthen ties and togetherness, especially within the diverse UNDIP community.

In his speech, UNDIP Rector, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., expressed his appreciation for the event as a reflection of unity in cultural diversity within the campus environment. “May this event bring blessings and further strengthen the bonds among UNDIP’s academic community,” he stated.

UNDIP successfully placed three fields of study among the world’s top 500 in the QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2025. “UNDIP is on the right track, and, insyaAllah, it will continue to improve through collaboration between lecturers, academic staff, and students,” said the Rector.

Meanwhile, Aufa Atha Ariq Aoraqi, President of BEM UNDIP, stated that Ngabuburit Budaya is a new initiative that combines artistic appreciation with an opportunity for students and university leadership to connect. “Through this Iftar gathering, we hope to create a more inclusive atmosphere between students and the Rector and his team before the Eid holiday and mid-term exams,” he said.

The event featured a variety of entertaining performances, including rebana music, a student band from the Vocational School, stand-up comedy by Hieronimus Eurico from the Faculty of Law, and an awarding session for the most favorite outfit, adding to the excitement leading up to iftar.

A special moment occurred when Rector Prof. Suharnomo showcased his golden voice by performing “Ikan dalam Kolam” alongside the student music band O.M Sambat Budaya. His performance was met with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.
