Vice Rector of Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ambariyanto, M.Sc. , who represented the Rector of Diponegoro University, held a Semiloknas with the theme “The Professor’s Role in Implementing the Independent Campus”. This is a new policy from the Ministry of Education and Culture so it needs the same understanding among the stakeholders in executing the policy. It was delivered in the National Seminar and Workshop Assembly of the Professors Council of Higher Education with Legal Entities (MDGB PTNBH) in Louis Kienne Pemuda Hotel, Semarang (March 11-12 March 2020).
“Independent Campus policy aims to create excellent human resources in Indonesia and it is hoped this Semilokanas can produce critical, comprehensive and solutional thoughts which are packed by the study document of Independent Campus and executive summary or brief summary which outlines the rational basis in selecting an alterbatof special policy or a series of actions in current policy,” continued Prof. Ambar.
The Chairman of Undip Professor, Prof. Dr. Edy Kurnianto, M.S., M. Agr., conveying the primary rationale of Semilokanas is the program of the Professors Council of Higher Education with Legal Entities (MDGB PTNBH) in responding to the policy by the Ministry of Education and Culture about the Independent Campus.
