Monday (13/7) The Diponegoro University holds Strategic Planning Meeting 2020 of head of university and faculty. This online meeting is attended by Undip Rector, Vice of Rector, Head of Academic Senate, Vice of MWA, and the Deans. The strategic planning meeting is initiated by Kepala Badan Perencanaan dan Pengembangan, Prof. Dr. Ir. Purwanto, DEA and opened by Undip Rector Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, SH., M.Hum.
In his speech, Prof. Yos said that the discussion in this meeting are about finance sector (including Undip business), human resources, and increase of quality level of education, and Undip upcoming steps for global progress.
“At least our study is executed not only for 5 years, but also for 10 years ahead, there are several things need to be maintained, such as: Undip will not apply Termination of Employment Policy, there will not be welfare decrease, and quality of Undip will be maintained”, said Undip Rector.
Prof. Yos said that things mentioned above should be the benchmark from rectorate, SA and MWA. Undip Rector hopes that Strategic Planning from its smallest unit should have accomplished target as basis and has optimism spirit.
The Strategic Planning Meeting is started by speech from Dean of Law Faculty and then followed by the deans from other faculties with duration of each session is 16 minutes. In general, the speech from head of faculties are about vision and mission of faculty, increase of courses which get international accreditation, increase of the most outstanding students, increase of qualified human resources, and some aspects that support targets of university.
