Three Study Programs of FPP UNDIP Successfully Achieved International Accreditation

The Dean of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Waluyo Hadi Eko Prasetiyono, M.S., M.Agr., IPU expressed his joy in the extraordinary achievements of FPP Undip this year. Three study programs of FPP Undip succeeded in achieving international accreditation, all of which cannot be separated from the support of all the existing academic community.  According to him, all study programs that have been accredited with excellence were assessed based on international students, student exchanges, research and intensive community service are carried out by lecturers, downstream of research results, and complete infrastructure. Three study programs of FPP UNDIP were also successfully achieved ASIIN accreditation so that these became added values supporting this achievement.

Edi Prayitno, S.Pt., M.Si as a lecturer of Animal Sciences Undergraduate Study Program gave his response after the ASIIN accreditation was given to the Animal Sciences Undergraduate Study Program. “Alhamdulillah, the Animal Sciences Undergraduate Study Program has received ASIIN accreditation in 2022. That is a good start. Hopefully the ASIIN accreditation can be a valuable value for Undip FPP graduates, because they get international recognition,” he said.

ASIIN’s international accreditation visits to the three study programs were carried out online on January 24-26, 2022. The ASIIN visit was carried out by five assessors from Germany and Indonesia. The assessors included Prof. Dr. Thomas John from the University of Applied Sciences Neubrandenburg, Prof. Dr. Benrnhard Hiebl from the University of Hannover, Prof. Dr. Sonja Kleinertz from the University of Rostock, Almansyah Sinatrya as the representative of the Industry and Cindy Septiany from the Student Representative. The three-day visitation began with an internal meeting with the ASIIN assessors. On the second day of the visit, each study program presented the advantages of their respective study programs and introduced the academic community consisting of deans, departments, and study programs. On the third day, the visitation ended with presentations from students from each study program.
