FPP UNDIP Successfully Ranked 400+ in QS World University Rankings

To be ranked in the QS World University Rankings is certainly not easy, considering that only 6 universities from Indonesia on the subject of Agriculture are listed in the QS World University Rankings, namely IPB University, Gadjah Mada University, ITB, Brawijaya University, Hasanuddin University and Diponegoro University.

The Dean of Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (FPP) Undip, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Waluyo Hadi Eko Prasetiyono, M.S., M.Agr., IPU said that achievements made by FPP UNDIP in reaching the 400+ ranking cannot be separated from the support of all the existing academics. According to him, all study programs that have been accredited with excellence were assessed based on international students, student exchanges, research and intensive community service are carried out by lecturers, downstream of research results, and complete infrastructure. Three study programs of FPP UNDIP were also successfully achieved ASIIN accreditation so that these became added values supporting this achievement.

He conveyed that on the subject of QS World University rankings, FPP UNDIP plans to hold public lectures and invite guest lecturers from the world’s top universities, hold student and lecturer exchanges at the international level, conduct research collaborations with partner universities abroad, hold more massive summer school events, and conduct lecture method with an introduction to English. In the future, it is hoped that the name of FPP Undip will be more prominent and known to the world.
