Voting day for the Pemilu and Election according to the conclusion of the RDP is on January 24, 2022 and KPU’s decision Number 21 of 2022. The general election for the President and Vice President, DPR, DPD, and DPRD will be on February 14, 2024. Meanwhile, the Election for Governors, Regents and Mayors will be on November 27, 2024. The recruitment of democracy volunteers is carried out at the Regency/City KPU level; Election observers must be registered as a community organization in the Government record and have obtained accreditation from the Provincial KPU or Regency/Municipal KPU to conduct Election Monitoring; using the right to vote (voting), people who have met the requirements to vote, namely Indonesian citizens aged at least 17 years or who are married can participate in the Pemilu by going to TPS using their right to vote; and other communities, namely the community that can contribute and participate in the implementation of the Election by being involved in the formulation of policies/regulations for the implementation of the Pemilu, including involvement in the election stages, and supervision.

“The strategy to improve the quality of community participation in the 2024 Pemilu and Election, among others, is the DP3 program, a means of sustainable village community Voter Education to increase knowledge and awareness of elections in order to increase public participation in Pemilu. Meanwhile, Democracy volunteers consist of 10 strategic voter bases, namely families, novice voters, young voters, women voters, people with disabilities, voters with special needs, marginalized groups, communities, religions, and internet users,” he concluded.
