Muhammad Adel Hilmi Halwanu, a Business Administration student at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University, successfully passed the fully funded National Youthpreneur Volunteer #2 program organized by Global Youthpreneur Nusantara. This program will be held on February 6-11, 2024, in the Sangurejo Tourism Village, Yogyakarta, with the theme “Let’s Serve While Working.”

Adel was one of seven participants who passed the program after going through various assessment stages. Youthpreneur Nusantara #2 is a program that accommodates the community in the fields of creative economy & tourism, education, health, environment and developing personal potential in terms of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Public Speaking, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving.

The delegates will later collaborate to realize their work independently, which will be expressed in the form of community service, business practicals, Focus Group Discussions, Workshops, and Economic Tours to several entrepreneurs from various industrial sectors.

“I hope that after participating in this program, I can improve my abilities both in terms of hard skills and soft skills. We also hope to be able to establish new relationships with young people from all over Indonesia who are part of this program and can benefit the wider community,” said Adel.

Apart from carrying out his university obligations, he is also active as a mentor at Cakap Social Indonesia and Leadersity. He is also active as a speaker in volunteer activities. As a student, he also feels proud to study at UNDIP because it is a top-state university and has superior facilities that support the learning process and student achievements.

“I am glad to study at UNDIP, which is a State University that is ranked among the best State Universities. UNDIP’s facilities are superior and very helpful to students. I advise all UNDIP students never to be satisfied with being in their comfort zone. Always give yourself a challenge. Get out of your comfort zone. Sometimes, opportunities don’t come twice. When a good opportunity comes, take it and accept the challenge. Explore and understand yourself as much as possible and get out of your comfort zone,” concluded Muhammad Adel Hilmi.
