UNDIP Accepts 4,656 New Students Through UTBK SNBT 2025 Admission Path

UNDIP, Semarang (May 29, 2025) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has once again emerged as one of the most sought-after public universities in Indonesia for the 2025 National Selection Based on Test (SNBT). A total of 84,514 applicants registered for UNDIP through the UTBK SNBT admission path, placing the university among the top national favorites.

Out of the total applicants, 4,656 prospective students successfully passed the selection process and were accepted into UNDIP. The highly competitive nature of the admissions reflects the growing public interest in UNDIP’s academic programs. For the 2025 cycle, the most in-demand programs include Law, Psychology, and Tax Accounting. These programs consistently rank among the favorites due to their relevance to societal needs and promising career prospects.

Prof. Dr. rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, expressed appreciation for the high number of applicants. “The large number of applicants reflects public trust in UNDIP as a leading and globally competitive higher education institution. We remain committed to delivering quality education and top-tier services for all students,” he said.

The 2025 UTBK SNBT applicants came from 38 provinces across Indonesia, with the largest numbers from Jawa Tengah, Jawa Barat, and DKI Jakarta. This broad geographic spread demonstrates UNDIP’s continued national appeal and growing inclusivity, attracting students from diverse backgrounds.

In the same event, Prof. Dr. Paramita Prananingtyas, S.H., LLM., noted that UNDIP currently offers 57 undergraduate (S1) programs and 11 applied undergraduate (D4) programs designed to produce high-achieving graduates in various fields. “We are continuously enhancing our curriculum to align with labor market needs and expanding both national and international partnerships to equip our graduates to be adaptable and competitive in the global era,” she explained.
