Rector of Diponegoro University (Undip), Prof. Yos Johan Utama launched the PPFSC (Program of Prosperous Family Service Center ) “Puspaku Sejahtera”, which is a collaboration program between BKKBN and Undip Faculty of Psychology, Thursday (20/12/2018) at ICT Center Building, 5th Floor, Undip campus, Tembalang, Semarang.
Rector said, PPFSC Puspaku Sejahtera’s functions must be optimized in implementing education, communication, information, and counseling for all families and communities. “This PPFSC will provide services of family welfare, from family planning, reproductive health, providing education on issues such as risks of early marriage or danger of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender), and efforts to build responsible family,” he said.
Representative of Central Java Office’s National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN ~ Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional), Wagino said that PPFSC “Puspaku Sejahtera” is expected to carry out its role to serve information and documentation on population, family planning and family development, parenting advice for toddler, and parenting advice for teenager and adolescent counseling, premarital counseling, family planning counseling and reproductive health counseling, counseling for elderly and services of family counseling with elderly person, counseling for harmonious family, and fostering home-based business.*
