In the field of education and research, Diponegoro University (Undip) continues to support lecturers and the academic community to continue to innovate and create useful ideas for the world of education and the wider community. This year, Undip managed to rank in several categories based on the AD Scientific Index (Alper-Doger Scientific Index), where Undip won 2nd place in the category of Public Universities in Indonesia Top 10,000 and 2nd place in the category of General Universities in Indonesia Top 10,000.
AD Scientific Index is a ranking system and evaluation analysis of journals and universities, based on scientific performance and added value from scientific productivity of scientists. The AD Scientific Index analysis uses the total and the last 6 years of the i10 index, H-index, and Google Scholar citation scores. Meanwhile, the ranking of scientists is assessed from various subjects including Agriculture & Forestry, Arts, Design and Architecture, Business & Management, Economics & Econometrics, Education, Engineering & Technology, History, Philosophy, Theology, Law/Law and Legal Studies, Medical and Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and so on.
In the AD Scientific Index ranking, Undip is included in the 2023 Indonesia University Rankings. The first assessment criterion is the number of scientists in the top 2% list. The second is the number of scientists in the top 10%, top 20%, top 40%, top 60%, and top 80% lists, and the third is the number of scientists listed in the AD Scientific Index.
In addition, there are a total of 301 Undip scientists listed in the index and 274 of them are among the Top 10,000 Scientists in Indo. Prof. Drs. Imam Ghozali, M.Com., Akt., Ph.D., Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Undip won 5th place in the Indonesia Top 10 Productivity i10 Index category with the subject Economics & Econometrics / Accounting & Finance.
