UNDIP Performance Achievement Awards 2025: Appreciating Faculty and School Contributions Toward a World-Reputable University

UNDIP, Semarang (27/01) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) held the UNDIP Performance Achievement Awards 2025 on Tuesday evening, January 27, 2026, at the Muladi Dome Multipurpose Building, UNDIP Tembalang Campus. The event served as an institutional expression of appreciation for the dedication, innovation, and collective work of UNDIP’s organizational units throughout 2025.

The ceremony was attended by the university leadership, the Chair and Members of the Academic Senate, the Board of Professors, Vice Rectors, Deans and faculty and school leaders, heads of institutes and agencies, Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP), as well as UNDIP’s strategic partners. Beyond being an annual ceremony, the awards also functioned as a shared reflection to strengthen a performance-oriented culture amid the dynamic challenges of higher education governance in an era of disruption and national efficiency.

In his remarks, the Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., emphasized that the Performance Achievement Awards represent tangible recognition of the hard work of all units that have demonstrated active, action-oriented leadership. “These awards are a form of appreciation for the collective efforts of faculties, schools, departments, and study programs at UNDIP. Amid the challenges of disruption and efficiency, leadership is not defined by position, but by actions and the quality of decisions made at every level,” said the Rector.

He also highlighted UNDIP’s achievement in the QS World University Rankings 2025, which saw the university climb more than 100 places to rank 624th globally, as evidence of strong cohesion and performance quality across all units. “Not many universities in the world can make such a leap in a single year. This achievement is the result of collective hard work. In the future, we are committed to safeguarding the well-being of the academic community and continuously encouraging excellent performance so that UNDIP becomes increasingly noble and valuable,” Prof. Suharnomo affirmed.
