Dukcapil Goes to Campus UNDIP

Ditjen Dukcapil Kemendagri held the Dukcapil Goes to Campus at Diponegoro University, Tuesday (14/2) in the Prof. Soedarto, S.H. Building, Undip Tembalang Campus. This activity aims to invite the Undip academic community to create a digital population identity (IKD). For this reason, the Dukcapil Kemendagri deployed 35 Dukcapil offices throughout Central Java and brought as many as 80 equipment to activate digital KTPs and 100 officers.

In his remarks, Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H, M.Hum., said that we are proud to have a KTP because it contains the values of Pancasila, this is clear evidence of being a strategic part in uniting the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

“Defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia begins with self-awareness and pride in being an Indonesian citizen. Uniting Indonesia, namely making people proud with digital ID cards. With a digital KTP there is the Pancasila state symbol on it and of course Undip really appreciates this program from Dukcapil,” said Prof. Yos.

In line with the Rector of Undip, the Director General of Population and Civil Registry of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Prof. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh encouraged that in order for the country to continue to grow, the government cannot work alone, but must partner with its ecosystem.

“To help the government work, the Dukcapil also supports it. Digital Population Identity or IKD does not only transfer population documents such as family card, birth certificates, and so on into gadgets. In transforming towards digital Adminduk services, Dukcapil learned from the concept of transforming the financial industry, where now many people use m-Banking, with a PIN in it,” said Prof. Zudan.

“We no longer need to carry KK, KTP and other certificates, everything is on the cellphone in the palm of our hand. Likewise in the IKD, if the cellphone is lost, replace the new cellphone, the number can be registered again. The important thing is that you remember the PIN number, like m-Banking, if you forget the PIN, reinstall it,” he concluded. (Lin – Public Relations)
