Vocational School Undip has reached its 7th Anniversary. Various works have been written both nationally and internationally. Serve, contribute, and improve the quality of Indonesian education by producing graduates who are competent and ready to work in the industrial world. In order to move towards an international-level vocational education campus, the Vocational School Undip is carrying out its 7th Anniversary activities. The theme raised this time is “Strengthening Collaboration to Create Synergistic Achievements in Building the Country.”
At the 7th Anniversary celebration, Vocational School Undip held a series of activities in the form of competitions, national expos, national and international seminars, and peak event celebrations. The series of activities celebrating the Vocational School Undip’s Anniversary will start on 26 – 28 May 2023. The event begins with the National Food Festival Expo with Sriboga Industrial Partners, followed by a series of Vocalympic activities such as Competitions between Vocational School Study Programs, Summer Courses, National Seminars, and Launching of Cultural Vocational Villages. The committee held a wayang (puppet shadow) show from the Vocational Culture Village, which will be broadcast Live on TVRI Jateng from 20.00-01.00 in the morning. Other activities include the Vocational Debate Competition, Vocational Idol: National Level Singing Competition, scientific orations, and Peak Night: Awards and Cultural Arts Performances, which will be held on October 21, 2023. The series of activities invited many invitations, namely from the Vocational School Undip, Vocational Colleges in Indonesia, Foreign Universities, Vocational Schools in Indonesia, Alumni and the Business World and Business Industry (DUDI).
Dean of Vocational School Undip, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si., said that on this 7th Anniversary, they have achieved many achievements both on the national and international levels. One of them is the Vocational School Undip students who are members of the Undip Choir Team (PSM) who succeeded in achieving achievements in the 2023 Taipei International Choral Competition; 18 Undip Vocational Applied Foreign Language Study Program students are currently doing internships in Japan and next year that number will increase to 40 students; Vocational School Undip Students Win 3rd Place in National MAWAPRES 2023; and the Undip Vocational School TRKI Study Program Receives Grant Funds for the Vocational Competitive Fund Program. With this achievement, Prof. Budi hopes that this Anniversary celebration will be an encouragement for the Vocational School Undip to continue to make valuable contributions and develop the country,” said the Undip Professor of Chemical Engineering.
