Semarang, December 6, 2024 – Another proud achievement has been secured by students of Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP). A student team from the Information and Public Relations Study Program at the Vocational School UNDIP triumphed at the Video Content Competition of UMKM Expo 2024.
The team, comprising fifth-semester students Ani Tri Handayani, Armila Shifa Ayu Salsabila, Arwa Ikmalanaya, and Arthur Nagari, won first place in the competition organized by the Dewan Kerajinan Nasional Daerah (Dekranasda).
The three-day competition, held from November 28 to 30, 2024, took place in the Kota Lama Semarang (Old Town) area, specifically at the Borsumy Building. This event was part of the annual Dekranasda Semarang Festival. What made this year’s event even more special was the inclusion of the upgraded UMKM Expo, which showcased 40 top local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The UNDIP Vocational School team impressed the judges with their creative and innovative video content. Their video not only effectively promoted MSME products but also delivered a profound message encouraging support for local products.
With this victory, the team hopes to raise public awareness about the importance of supporting local MSME products. By leveraging digital platforms and creativity, they aim to contribute to the development of MSMEs in Semarang City.
